work

Lotte Weber (*1990) was born and grew up in Darmstadt, Hessen (Germany).

As a visual observer, she has always perceived the world with an eye for detail and potential motifs. She understands photography as her language, it functions as her medium of expression.

In her work Lotte is focusing on a natural look, the interplay of colour and form, capturing special light situations and catching artful details. Her gaze is characterized by particularly precise compositions and a feeling for the right moment.
To immerse herself in other worlds and ways of life, she is constantly spending time at public places and happenings which are foreign to her.
Her photographic interest is driven by the – either planned or random – encounters with people. She loves the experience of spending time in seemingly ordinary places and seeing them in a new light. As she is never standing still in her own life and frequently changed places of residence, she has a keen interest in public transit hubs.
